Key Features of Motorola Edge 60 Fusion

Display & Design

The Edge 60 Fusion boasts a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and 96.3% screen-to-body ratio. Compared to the Edge 50 Fusion, which had a 1080p AMOLED display with 1,300 nits brightness, the new model offers sharper visuals and higher brightness, enhancing outdoor visibility.

Performance & Storage

The latest model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, marking a shift from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 used in the previous version. The Edge 60 Fusion offers 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB storage options, whereas the Edge 50 Fusion came with 128GB as the base variant. The new processor aims to provide better power efficiency and performance.

Camera System

Motorola has retained its 50MP primary sensor with OIS but upgraded the ultra-wide camera to 13MP from the previous 8MP. The 32MP selfie camera remains unchanged but now supports 4K video recording, an improvement over the Edge 50 Fusion’s 1080p limit.

Battery & Charging

The Edge 60 Fusion packs a 5,500mAh battery with 68W fast charging, compared to the 5,000mAh battery and 50W fast charging in the previous model. The upgrade ensures longer usage with quicker top-ups.

Software & AI Features

Out of the box, the new model runs on Android 15 with three years of OS updates and four years of security patches, offering better longevity compared to the Edge 50 Fusion, which launched with Android 14.

Durability & Colors

Motorola has enhanced durability by adding IP68 and IP69 ratings, making the device resistant to dust, high-pressure water, and submersion. The Edge 50 Fusion only had an IP68 rating. Color options have also expanded, with pink, green, purple, and blue available.

Final Thoughts

The Edge 60 Fusion brings noticeable upgrades in display quality, processing power, camera capabilities, battery life, and durability. While the Edge 50 Fusion was already a solid offering, the new version refines and enhances the experience, making it a strong option in the mid-range segment.
